Zeiders American Dream performances take place at 4509 Commerce Street, located on the second floor next to the Premier Apartments.
During evening and weekend hours, I-264 can be expected to be busy at the Independence Blvd exit. Please allow yourself a few extra minutes to get from I-264 to The Z if there are multiple activities scheduled.
From the Oceanfront/I-264 West
Take Exit 17B/South Independence Boulevard.
Turn Right on Commerce Street.
Zeiders American Dream Theater is located on the right.
Downtown Norfolk or Portsmouth/I-264 East
Take Exit 17B/South Independence Boulevard.
Turn Right on Commerce Street.

Chesapeake/Suffolk/I-64 West
Take Newtown Road Exit/284B.
Merge onto I-264 East/Norfolk-VA Beach Expressway.
Take Exit 17B/South Independence Boulevard.
Turn Right on Commerce Street.

Hampton/Peninsula/Richmond/I-64 East – Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel
Take Newtown Road Exit/284B.
Merge onto I-264 East/Norfolk-VA Beach Expressway.

Parking Near The Z
Please plan to arrive early enough to find parking. ALL 4000 PARKING SPACES IN TOWN CENTER ARE FREE! Pretty cool huh? Please be aware that most on street parking is 2 hour parking and is enforced by the City of Virginia Beach.
Cosmopolitan Parking Garage
Located Columbus Street and Town Center Drive. This garage is located below the Cosmopolitan Apartments. It has multiple entry points at Columbus Street as well as Town Center Drive. This parking garage is the closest to the theater and you can take the walkway bridge from the garage to the theater plaza.
Surface Parking Lot
Located at the corner of Bank Street and Market Street. Some spaces are 2 hour only parking while most are not timed parking.
Westin Parking Garage
Located at the corner of Commerce Street and Market Street. This garage is attached to the Westin Hotel and the entrance is on Market Street. Take the elevator down to the lobby and take a right turn outside.
Dick’s Parking Garage
Located at the corner of Columbus Street and Market Street. This garage is attached to Dick’s Sporting Goods and the entrance is on Market Street. Take the skybridge across to the Westin Parking Garage and take the elevators to the ground floor.
Armada Hoffler Garage
Located at the corner of Main Street and Central Park Avenue. This garage has two entry points, but we recommend entering at the entrance on Central Park Avenue.
